At Mint Dental Care, infection control has always been a priority, and you may have seen this during your visits with us. We wanted to review how we designed our infection control processes to keep your visits with us safe and comfortable.

Our Sunnyvale general dental office follows infection control recommendations made by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the Santa Clara County Public Health Department. 

We are committed to ensuring that our infection control procedures are current and effective. Some of our practices include utilizing hospital-grade disinfectants and sterilization techniques and using single-use supplies when appropriate. 

To keep our patients and the Sunnyvale community safe, please note:

• Please arrive for appointments wearing a face mask and unaccompanied.
• As we are no longer accepting walk-ins, we are offering the ability to schedule your appointments online.
• We have added HEPA air filtration units to each treatment room.
• You will receive a COVID-19 screening form with your confirmation emails. Please complete this form prior to each visit with us.
• You will be asked to reschedule if you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, awaiting test results, or have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
• When you arrive for your appointment, we will review your completed screening form with you and take your temperature.

Though we have had to make changes to our protocols in light of COVID-19, our commitment to ensuring you have a safe and comfortable dental visit has not changed.
