If you have dental work, such as bridges, you may need to try an interdental cleaner, a water flosser, or dental picks in addition to traditional floss. 3. Use an Antibacterial Mouthwash: 

Rinsing with a mouthwash helps to reduce plaque, prevent gingivitis, and freshen your breath. Swish for about 30-60 seconds to ensure it reaches all areas of your mouth. Mouthwashes can be used to introduce additional fluoride to your routine or to provide you with an extra line of defense against gingivitis. 

4. Chew Sugar-Free Gum with Xylitol: 

Chewing sugar-free gum with xylitol after meals can be very beneficial. Xylitol helps reduce the levels of cavity-causing bacteria in your mouth. Chewing gum also increases saliva flow, which helps wash away food particles and neutralize harmful acids.
